Former CB&Q Passenger cars

The Chicago Burlington & Quincy, (or as it’s more commonly known, the C.B. & Q. or just the Q) have used Budd
built stainless steel cars almost exclusively since their 1934 purchase of the Pioneer Zephyr. Besides running commuter
service on Chicago’s west side and being the Chicago connection for the Empire Builder and North Coast Limited, their most
famous train was the California Zephyr.
