BN train 351 became train 401 on Jan. 1, 1985 and became the 403 in 1987. In 1988, it handled traffic for Eola, Mendota, Galesburg, and beyond.

BN train 87 became train 237 on Jan. 1, 1985 and became train 405 June 21, 1988. It handled traffic for St. Joseph, for east of Pacific Jct., and traffic including TOFC for Omaha.

Train 135 began in 1971 and in 1973 connected with L&N train 769 to Nashville, TN. Train 135 became train 445 Jan. 1, 1985. In 1988, it handled traffic for Vermont, Beardstown, Jacksonville, Centralia, and Southern connections.

BN train 166 began in the mid-70s originating in Grand Island from connection with UP train ABNP from North Platte. During the 1982 the destination was changed to Chicago. Train 166 became train 490 Jan. 1, 1985. It was deleted later that year.
