BN train 130 began in 1970 During 1972-3 the schedule was changed terminate at Minot and operate daily except Sunday. Train 130 was deleted in 1974.

BN train CTF began in 1980, operated through Rosedale Yard in Kansas City and connected with trains THF and 39 at Tulsa. Trains CTF and THF were combined to form the CTH, which became train 51 on Jan. 1, 1985 and became train 151 Feb. 4, 1987. In 1988, it handled priority traffic for Galesburg, Kansas City, Tulsa, Irving, Teague, and Houston.

BN trains HTF and TCF were combined to form the HTC, which became train 52 on Jan. 1, 1985. On Oct. 23, 1986 its schedule was changed to terminate at Galesburg. On Feb. 4, 1987, train 52 became train 152. In 1988, it handled priority traffic for Teague, Irving, Tulsa, Kansas City, West Quincy, Galesburg, and beyond.

Train 153 began as train CLA became train 53 Jan. 1, 1985 and became train 153 in Sept. 1987. In 1988, it handled TOFC and double stack containers for Kansas City and SSW train CHLAF to El Paso, Tucson, Phoenix, and Los Angeles.

BN train LAC handled traffic from SP train LACHT from Los Angeles. The LAC became train 54 on Jan. 1, 1985 and became the 153 in Sept. 1987. In 1988, it handled TOFC and double stack containers from SSW train LACHF for West Quincy, Galesburg, and beyond.

Train 157 began March 1, 1989 and operated from Chicago to Kansas City.

NP train 697 operated Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. It became BN train 160 and operated from Portland Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. During 1972-3 the schedule was changed to operate daily. Train 160 was deleted in the mid-70s.

BN train 100 began in 1970 During 1972-3 the schedule was changed with 100 originating in Denver. The schedule was changed in 1982 originating in Lincoln as the 100LC. It was changed back to Denver in 1983. The 100 became train 160 on Jan. 1, 1985 and was deleted in early 1986.

Train 160 began Oct. 30, 1986 and handled priority traffic from trains 60 and 152 for Chicago and interchange with CSX.

CB&Q train CO became train 101 in late 1968. CB&Q train 101 retained the same number after the merger. It handled traffic for interchange with the Union Pacific for North Platte. Train 101 later originated in Galesburg and terminated at Omaha. Train 101 became train 161 on Jan. 1, 1985. On March 18, 1985 the destination was changed to Denver. In 1988, it handled priority traffic for Galesburg, Omaha, Lincoln, Hastings, Holdredge, McCook, Brush, Denver, and Golden.

CB&Q train GI-68 became train 66 in late 1968. CB&Q train 66 retained the same number after the merger. It handled traffic from North Platte from UP train BNP. The origin of train 66 was changed to Galesburg in March 1983. Train 66 became train 162 on Jan. 1, 1985. Train 162 handled priority traffic for the EJ&E at Eola and the BRC Clearing Yard.

BN train 167 began in 1970 handling traffic for interchange with the Union Pacific. Between 1972-3 the schedule was changed with 167 leaving Chicago on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and terminating in Kansas City.

BN train 175 began in the early 70s and handled traffic for Seattle and beyond.

Train 175 began Feb. 24, 1989 and operated from Memphis to Avard to connect with the ATSF.

SLSF train CTB (California Tulsa Birmingham) handled traffic from California from the ATSF and retained its symbol after the merger. Train CTB became train 176 Jan. 1, 1985. In 1988, it handled priority traffic from ATSF train 876 for Tulsa, Springfield, Memphis, and beyond. On March 6, 1989 the schedule was changed to originate at Tulsa with the start up of train 178.

BN train BDX (Birmingham Denver Express) became train 181 on Jan. 1, 1985. In 1988, it handled priority traffic for Memphis, Kansas City, Lincoln, Denver, Golden, Salt Lake City via the D&RGW, and beyond. It could combine with train 161 at Lincoln on light traffic days.

BN train DNM operating from Denver to Memphis was changed Oct. 14, 1984 to terminate in Birmingham. It became train 182 on Jan. 1, 1985. In 1988, it handled priority traffic for Lincoln, Kansas City, Springfield, Memphis, and beyond. It could consolidate with train 120 from Kansas City to Memphis on light traffic days. In 1989 the schedule was changed to terminate at Birmingham.

BN train HPS operated from Houston to Seattle. It was rerouted to Casper in May 1984. It became train 195 on Jan. 1, 1985. In 1988, it handled priority traffic for Amarillo, Denver, Laurel, Spokane, and beyond. In 1989 the schedule was changed to originate in Galveston.

BN train SPH operated from Seattle to Houston. It was rerouted to Casper in May 1984. It became train 196 on Jan. 1, 1985. In 1988, it handled priority traffic for Missoula, Laurel, Cheyenne, Denver, Amarillo, Fort Worth, and beyond. In 1989 the schedule was changed to terminate in Galveston.
