BN train 130 began in 1970 During 1972-3 the schedule was changed terminate at Minot and operate daily except Sunday. Train 130 was deleted in 1974.

In 1988, it handled priority traffic for Galesburg, Kansas City, Tulsa, Irving, Teague, and Houston.

BN train 100 began in 1970 During 1972-3 the schedule was changed with 100 originating in Denver. The schedule was changed in 1982 originating in Lincoln as the 100LC. It was changed back to Denver in 1983. The 100 became train 160 on Jan. 1, 1985 and was deleted in early 1986.

CB&Q train CO became train 101 in late 1968. CB&Q train 101 retained the same number after the merger. It handled traffic for interchange with the Union Pacific for North Platte. Train 101 later originated in Galesburg and terminated at Omaha. Train 101 became train 161 on Jan. 1, 1985. On March 18, 1985 the destination was changed to Denver. In 1988, it handled priority traffic for Galesburg, Omaha, Lincoln, Hastings, Holdredge, McCook, Brush, Denver, and Golden.

SLSF train CTB (California Tulsa Birmingham) handled traffic from
California from the ATSF and retained its symbol after the merger.
Train CTB became train 176 Jan. 1, 1985. In 1988, it handled priority
traffic from ATSF train 876 for Tulsa, Springfield, Memphis, and
beyond. On March 6, 1989 the schedule was changed to originate at
Tulsa with the start up of train 178.

In 1989 the schedule was changed to terminate at Birmingham.
