BN train 185 began 1972-3. The destination was changed to Northtown in 1974. Train 185 became train 203 Jan. 1, 1985. In 1988, it handled traffic for North LaCrosse, GB&W (set out at East Winona), Northtown, and train 119. It was deleted in 1989.

CB&Q train 83 connected with GN train 83 at Union Yard in Minneapolis and formed a run through from Chicago to Seattle. It retained the same number after the merger, but with a revised schedule Train 83 became train 207 on Jan. 1, 1985. It was deleted in 1987.

In 1989 the schedule was changed to terminate at Willmar.
