BN train 20 began Sept. 26, 1988 and operated from South Seattle to Birmingham. In February 1997 the symbol became PSEHMEM.

BN train MSP began in 1982-83 operating from Memphis to Spokane was changed to the SEP Oct. 16, 1984 operating from Birmingham to Spokane. The SEP became train 21 on Jan. 1, 1985. The destination was changed to Seattle in March 1985. In 1988, it would leave Birmingham at 700PM on Saturday and Sunday and resume the schedule at Memphis. It handled TOFC and autos for the ATSF and Denver (set out at Memphis for trains 73 and 181), Billings, Laurel, and beyond. It picked up additional TOFC at Memphis, Springfield, Kansas City, and Lincoln. Later the origin was changed to Springfield and in February 1997 the symbol became PSPRSEH.

21 Birmingham 900P  South Seattle 400A  5 86-88

BN train SKM began 1982-83 operating from Spokane to Memphis. The route was changed to the GN line in May 1984. The SKM was changed to the PSE Oct. 16, 1984 operating from South Seattle to Birmingham. The PSE became train 22 on Jan. 1, 1985. In 1988, it operated via the Montana Rail Link and handled TOFC for Omaha (set out at Lincoln for train 492), Kansas City, Springfield, Memphis, and Birmingham.

Train 24 began in Feb. 1986 operating from Spokane Wednesday through Saturday replacing train 22YA. It began operating from South Seattle in early 1988 as required and handled TOFC for the same points as train 22 plus Wenatchee and Spokane. The schedule was changed in 1989 to terminate in Kansas City.

Train 31 began Feb. 13, 1989 and operated from Louisville Hub to St. Louis.

Train 32 began Feb. 13, 1989 and operated from St. Louis to Louisville Hub.

SLSF train 33 handled traffic for North Texas and beyond.

Train 33 began Feb. 14, 1987 handling auto racks from Chicago to South Seattle. It also handled overflow double stack containers. In 1988, it also handled Shelby TOFC from Northtown. The schedule was changed in 1989 to operate through Seattle and terminate at Lake Yard in Portland.

Train 34 began Feb. 14, 1987, operated Tuesday through Saturday and handled auto racks and TOFC for Dilworth, Northtown, Chicago, and the GTW to Flatrock. The schedule was changed in 1989 to originate in Portland.

SLSF train 35 retained the same number after the merger with BN.

Train 41 began Feb. 7, 1986 and operated Tuesday through Saturday from Chicago with roadrailer equipment. The schedule was deleted June 30, 1986.

Train 41 began Sept. 2, 1986 and operated to the Midway hub in St. Paul with TOFC. In February 1997 the symbol became QCHCSTP-A.

Train 42 began Feb. 8, 1986 and operated Monday through Saturday from North St. Louis with roadrailer equipment. The schedule was deleted June 30, 1986.

Train 42 began Sept. 2, 1986 and operated from the Midway hub in St. Paul with Chicago TOFC. The schedule was changed to originate at Northtown with TOFC from train 142 and pick up additional TOFC at Midway. In February 1997 the symbol became QNTWCHC-A.

Train 43 began in Feb. 1986 and operated from Chicago on Sunday with roadrailer equipment. The schedule was deleted June 30, 1986.

Train 43 began Feb. 3, 1987 operating to the Midway hub in St. Paul with TOFC only. The schedule was changed in April 1988 to handle autos for Daytons Bluff, TOFC for Midway, and TOFC for train 141 at Northtown.

Train 44 began Feb. 24, 1987 operating between Midway hub in St. Paul with Galesburg and St. Louis TOFC. The schedule was changed in February 1988 to originate at Northtown with TOFC from trains 2, 4, 12, and 14 and pick up additional TOFC for Galesburg for trains 51, 57, 60, and 65 and St. Louis.

Train 45 began Feb. 24, 1987 operating between St. Louis and Midway hub in St. Paul. In 1988, it handled TOFC for Omaha, Denver, and Galesburg (set out at Galesburg) Dayton Bluff autos and TOFC for Midway and Northtown for trains 1, 3, 13, and 19.

Train 46 began Sept. 29, 1987 handling expediter TOFC and operated Tuesday through Saturday.

Train 47 began Sept. 29, 1987 handling expediter TOFC and operated Tuesday through Saturday. In February 1997 the symbol became QCHCSTP-B.

Train 48 expediter began Sept. 9, 1985. The schedule was changed July 1, 1986 to originate in Chicago. In 1988, it handled TOFC for Galesburg, St. Louis, Memphis, and Birmingham.

Train 49 expediter began Sept. 9, 1985. The schedule was changed July 1, 1986 to terminate in Chicago. In 1988, it handled TOFC for St. Louis, Galesburg, and Chicago.

Train 50 began March 30, 1987 and handled TOFC for Tulsa, Kansas City, Galesburg, and Chicago.

Train 51 began March 30, 1987 and handled TOFC for Kansas City, Tulsa, Irving (Dallas & Fort Worth), and Houston.

Train 52 began April 14, 1987 and handled Irving, Tulsa, (Springfield, Memphis, Birmingham, and St. Louis TOFC set out at Tulsa for No. 76), St. Louis, and Chicago TOFC. At Kansas City it would set out TOFC for Kansas City and Omaha and pick up TOFC and autos for Northtown and Chicago. The schedule was changed in 1989 to originate at Kansas City and terminate at Chicago.

Train 53 began March 15, 1988 and handled TOFC for Tulsa, Irving and Houston. It was deleted in 1989.

BN train 91 began in 1970 Train 91 became train 55 in the 70s and operated to A&S's Mitchell Yard.

Train 55 began July 19, 1986 operating from Chicago on Friday to Kansas City with Evergreen double stack containers for SP train CHRXT to Long Beach, CA. In 1988, it operated from Chicago on Sunday.
