BN train 84 handled general traffic for Northtown and beyond.

BN train 84 began April 27, 1987 and, in 1988, handled TOFC for St. Louis (set out at Springfield for No 78), Memphis, and Birmingham.

BN train 85 began April 27, 1987 and, in 1988, handled TOFC for St. Louis and beyond (set out at Memphis for No 49), TOFC for Tulsa, Irving, Houston (set out at Springfield for No 79), and TOFC for Kansas City, and Omaha.

GN train 88 (Fruit Special) retained the same number after the merger, but the schedule was revised and the train continued to Chicago. In 1968, it handled general merchandise and connected with CB&Q train 82 at Minneapolis Union Yard.

BN train 90 began in 1970. In early 1975 the schedule was changed to operate via Yakima. Train 90 was deleted in 1976.

Train 90 began April 14, 1987 handling TOFC from SP train LABRF at Brooklyn Yard for South Seattle. It operated Wednesday through Sunday.

Train 91 began Sept. 3, 1985, operated via Denver and handled TOFC for Irving, Amarillo, Denver, Billings, Spokane, Portland, Everett, and Seattle. It would fill with Fort Worth traffic at Houston and set out the Portland TOFC at Spokane.

Train 92 began Sept. 3, 1985, operated via Denver and handled TOFC and autos for Spokane, Billings, Denver, Amarillo, Irving, and Houston. This was the longest scheduled train on the BN. The 2,722 mile trip took 116 hours and 30 minutes. This was just three miles longer than train 22's trip. Trains 91 and 92 were discontinued in 1994 when BN closed the intermodal terminal in Houston.

Train 93 began May 4, 1987 and handled TOFC for Amarillo, Denver, and the D&RGW. It operated Monday through Friday.

CB&Q train 86 became train 94 in late 1968. CB&Q train 94 retained the same number after the merger. Train 94 was deleted in 1974.

Train 96 began Feb. 17, 1987 operated Tuesday through Friday. It handled TOFC for Tacoma and Seattle.

Train 97 began April 14, 1987 and operated Tuesday through Friday. It handled TOFC and operated into SP's Brooklyn Yard to connect with train PTLAT. In 1988 it operated Monday through Saturday.

BN train 98 began in 1972-3. In early 1975 the schedule was changed with 98 originating in Northtown Yard. In 1980 it handled traffic for Conrail.
